At Japan’s Ichikawa City Zoo, a 7-month-old macaque named Punch has developed an online following after his mother abandoned him because of a difficult birth.

At a zoo outside ⁠Tokyo, the monkey enclosure has become a must-see attraction thanks ​to an inseparable pair: Punch, a baby Japanese macaque, and his stuffed orangutan companion.

One thing that helped the most was a soft, stuffed orangutan toy from IKEA.
