Women's figure skating for the 2026 Winter Games has started. Here's the full schedule of events for this popular Olympic event in Milan.

Alysa Liu's short program, Madison Chock and Evan Bates' rhythm dance, Danny O'Shea and Ellie Kam's short program put the U.S. in first place.

The three-day event is a chance for the top 10 skating countries to bring home a medal — and for viewers to get acquainted with the sport's different disciplines and biggest names.

The Olympic figure skating team event got underway Friday morning with the rhythm dance, pairs short program and women's short program. Ten national teams compete for a place in the final and the chance to stand on the Olympic podium.

Costume: Figure skaters select outfits that match the style of their programs and the mood of their music. Women can wear a skirt or pants and men must wear full-length trousers, but not tights. Accessories, props and apparel that gives "the effect of excessive nudity" are not allowed.
