The first medal of the Winter Games was awarded this morning, with Swiss skiier Franjo von Allmen taking the gold. Later today, medals will be awarded in women's 10km and 10km skiathlon, women’s normal hill ski jumping, men’s snowboard Big Air and women’s 3,000-meter speed skating.
