Pakistan prepares debut of its first national stablecoin
Pakistan has announced its intention to launch its first stablecoin to be used within the country. Announcing the development, Pakistan Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (PVARA) Chairman Bilal Bin Saqib states that the move is part of its effort to integrate digital assets into Pakistan’s economy.
Former Pentagon official Michael Rubin claimed that it is because of US President Donald Trump's "gross incompetence" that India and Russia are growing closer. Russian President Vladimir Putin has vowed "uninterrupted shipments" of fuel to New Delhi.
Rubin also called for Pakistan army chief Asim Munir's arrest while objecting to his White House visit in June.
