Protests erupted across Minneapolis today after federal immigration agents from Customs and Border Protection shot and killed a man Saturday morning - the second death of a Minnesota resident at the hands of federal agents in just a few weeks. Department of Homeland Security Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said a person approached Border Patrol officers with a "9 mm semi-automatic handgun" and the person "violently resisted" before federal agents fired fatal shots.
